I have a 93' trans am w/auto . I have just installed 52mm throttlebody / headers / "fastchip" computer chip . I can't tell any differance, it almost feels like I lost bottom end torque ? I've driven it about 50 miles, it sucks alot more gas, but take off is slower than it was. My next step is 373 gears, but I feel like I'm throwing my money away. By the way it has flow master exhaust / cold air / shift kit already . Thanks for any help, John

Well, a 52mm throttle body is to big for your current application, and can cause you to lose bottom end because air velocity suffers.

headers,stall 2600-3200,gear 373s,tire,1.6rr,160*stat etc.
pull the 52mm off for now,do the mods listed and you will enjoy your car

If you have an auto tanny you NEED a tune when installing a larger TB, not just a "fastchip"

fastchip is a tune the tuner is ed wright and his company name is "Fastchip" but anyway like Grims said, pull the 52mm TB off your losing air velocity and your bottom end is suffering, put in a set of 3:73's a stall, put the stock TB back on and you should be good to go

Is the 93' the TPI? or beggining of the LT1? because i know on my lt1 comes stock with a "Twin 52mm" and the upgrade is a "Twin 58mm" i have basically the same mods done to my car as you do man and all of them seemed to have helped drastically but listen to these guys they know their stuff!

1985-1997 all factory tb's are 48mm
52 and 58 are aftermarket.
92 started the Lt1 with the vette,93 on f-bodies.
