first of all id like to thank everyone on this website for being such a great help! i love coming to see what youve asked and i try to help as much as possible, anyways to business
is the throttle body bypass worth it? i dont have cats, no screen in the maf anything else? what about other things that really open up an LT1 for cheap, id like to hear about any secrets  ty
any help opinions and suggestions is always more than welcome
The TB bypass is most definalty worth it! It won't show a great deal of hp on the dyno but it is worth doing. See, the idea of the intake system is to keep the air as cool as possible, and since the TB has the coolant lines running in one side and out the other it heat soaks the TB causing the TB to be warmer. Cooler air = More power ;)

The Tech FAQ has a section on LT1 Free Mods.
IMO the bypass is worth it just to make maintenance easier. After an EGR delete and TB bypass, you can R&R the intake manifold in no time!!

How do you go about doing an EGR delete and TB bypass?

TB Bypass: http://www.ls1lt1.com/forum/faq.php?faq=lt1faq#faq_lt1_freemods
The EGR delete is a tad more complicated, but not much.

so for the TB bypass, the hose from the radiator goes straight into the steam pipe, thus leaving no hoses going into that part of the TB? ..i think

Hmmm..is it different to do on a 93? Because there isn't just 'the other hose at the bottom of the TB' ..I see the one from the radiator, but not the one for the steam pipe...? :dontknow:

Look closely.... There are 2. One is kind of on the bottom on the left hand side of the throttle body when you are facing the engine with the hood open. Look closer. You will find it. I know, I did it and ruined my electric waterpump because of it. I didn't bleed the system....

i found it actually do i just join the inlet hose with the outlet hose with a hose mender as on the 93's the steam pipe runs right to the radiator or do i have to tee it to the steam pipe

Just join them together.... make sure you bleed the system correctly. There will be TONS of air in the system after you do this. Like I said earlier, I fried my electric water pump because of all the air in the system.

i did it today and blead the system. did you change your chip or reprogram your stock one at all, i put a ram air intake and hood on and was wondering if i should chip mine since i am getting more air and the 93 has no maf on it

Ok, I have seen the free mod issue a few times in other threads and have noticed one thing missing. It may seem like a no brainer to most, but weight reduction is always good way to go to improve perfomance. So if you have anything in he car you can do without. get rid of it. ie.. big honking speaker boxes, spare tire, jack, back seat, get creative. just be sure to leave te driver seat found they come in handy.
sorry about the type o's just look this over and it looked like a retarded third grader typed it.
