i have a 1997 SS and i have a slight driverside problem- with the lights off Everythings works fine.(brake light, turn signal) When i turn the lights on,the driverside brake light stays on. When i apply the brakes, the passenger side and center brake light work fine but the diver side stays on constantly. I've changed the bulb and have checked the socket. The socket appears to be fine and i don't think the brake switch would be the problem but that's why i'm posting here because i've never had this problem before. Has anyone else had this problem before?

Not trying to be a smartass, but make sure you have the right bulbs in all of the sockets.
Somehow it seems that you have power comming from your parking light going to your turn signal elememt of your bulbs. You should have 1157 bulbs in the two middle sockets, those are the dual element and dual pole light bulbs. Make sure you have them in the right way, they're only supposed to go in one way but people do somehow put them in wrong  Check it out and see what you find. How long have you had this problem? Does the indicator light stay on in the gauge cluster when you turn on your turn signal? How is the front acting?
