Stock CD player stereo in my 95 Formula. Bought it with a Warrant CD stuck in it. Seller said I could keep the CD if I get it out...great. Actually, I'll admit that I did see them open up for Loverboy in the 80's, but I've moved on...really.

If I hit the Eject, it spins around trying for a while, but never spits it out. If I hit Play, it spins, but doesn't play.
Radio works fine, when the CD player is not stuck in a loop of trying to either Eject or Play.

Wondering if I should try sticking something in there to pry it out, just live with it, or take the radio out and see if there is anything I can disassemble to get at the internal mechanism.

Thanks for any experienced suggestions before embarking on a waste of time.

Did the CD player work after you got the CD out, or did the next one you put in get stuck too?

Shove some black cats all along the opening, and light em up.

Just had an aftermarket Pioneer do this to me, I would have to stick a knife in it and hit eject to get the damn cd out. I would pull it out, stand in the road, and see how high/far you could throw it.

i cant tell you how many times a week at work i pull stuck cd's out of factory decks, pop it back in, and it works perfectly. my suggestion is pull out the radio, you should be able to see the actual cd through the tons of little holes in the chassis of the radio, see if you can "help" it eject with a thin piece of metal you can reach in there, if not, take the cover off and try the same, completely dissassembling the cd mechanism is something i would only attempt if you were willing to buy a new one if you did screw it up. 9 out of 10 times at work when i tell people i can take it apart and try to fix it, but i may kill it in the process, they say: go ahead, i was looking for a new one, and most of the time, it works perfectly once you get the stuck one out.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll use the credit card approach after I get my fuel injector mess straightened out.
If that doesn't work, I guess I'll try one of iceman, grims, or sped's suggestions.
No matter what I do, it looks like the credit card is going to be needed on way or another.

What I always do modify a pair of tweezers. Well i did that in my factory deck in my Hawk. But in my Cadilliac w/ a pioneer CD player its all the time getting stuck. I just shove it back in w/ another CD and keep trying the eject button.
