Bad weekend for the Hammer....

Friday my drivers side window motor gives up the ghost, Saturday my Optima Red Top dies and has to be charged. Saturday I purchased a Seimens window motor ($54 lifetime warranttee) and intall that sucker in a couple of hours. While installing the motor I left the ignition keys on to test the motor and the car wouldn't start. I HATE RED TOPS!!!! Got it started and went home. Sunday I'm out shopping and boom no battery again. Fortunately I'm right by a Pep Boys so I limp in there and have them check the battery, their battery tester says the battery is GOOD. What a crock, I give them the "good" red top and take a Premium Bosch battery.Starts right up and I can leave the stereo on for for an hour with fear of having to jump the car not. Shit what a weekend.....

Those Optima batteries suck. They provide good voltage when hooked up and driving the car. Leave them for a week or two and their done!

Nitrous fuel line had a small crack on the nut, fuel sprayed out and ignited on something. Blew lots of stuff up! :D

Grims I am most appoligetic that my weekend was not as traumatic as yours. My sincerest regrets for your extremely bad weekend!

bad weekends huh? i flew down to houston thursday night after my plane got delayed 3 hours from a rain shower it seemed. then friday i loaded a box truck full to the brim (well over the 10k lb GVWR) from 10 am till 12 pm. then we hooked a trailer and a bonneville to the poor thing and started our journey back to PA. i drove the box truck all 1533 miles back in less than 48hours with 8 hours of sleep total and no buddy in the truck with me and an ipod and cell phone out of batteries. actually im not complaining im bragging i TANKED that stuff and the ride was beautiful! i love those states! 80 degrees and sunny? amazing! sorry your guys weekends suck

at least it lost oil pressure at the shop where it was going to get tuned, bad part is they are booked to may, so they can only get to it when they have free time.

I understand that implicitly, I was merely making a little funny at myself for thinking that my weekend was all that bad in the first place. I realized that there are far worse thing that can happen to one than having a window motor and battery fail.:thumbsup:
