i was told by a friend that i need a ignitiom box but i was wondering if i need one for this system on my lt1???????????or is it a straight bolt on

I added the Mallory ignition box solely for window activation and timing control. With a small shot you do not need to retard the timing unless you have some out of the ordinary issues to cause detonation. You do not "need" the ignition box but it adds some control and safety. In my case, I wanted the box and am glad I bought it.

The 82026 kit is designed for the higher LS1 fuel pressure and volume. You should boost your fuel volume if you use this wet kit with the LT1. I chose to use an external fuel pressure booster pump but some go with the 255 lph in tank fuel pumps.
