researching rubber, I was looking at the 11" ZR1 replica rims. In the section explaining what cars they will fit it claims they will not fit on the convertables?
Does anyone know for sure. I would hate to buy rims that will not fit.
If that is the case what is the largest size that will fit?

you might have to do some fender lip rolling and maybe some backspacing adjustment but i don't see why they wouldn't fit

Did you check the link?
It says they fit regular maros and birds but not the verts??? First the subframes now this
It's discrimination I tell ya! Yall trying to keep the tops down
I am not sure why I don't think there is any difference in the wheel well.
P.S. What happened to your 93?

He filled up with some new gas, and he thought it would run better if he got it mixed in better with his old gas in the bottom of the car. So he went really fast and tried to do a flip to mix it. And it worked like really good before it went all horribly wrong! So he just landed on his top. I'd say his gas is mixed up now.

the SFC's won't fit cuz of the bracing for the vert from the factory but i believe SLP has a set out for the vert now. im not sure why those wheels won't fit i don't think GM put extra bracing in the wheel wells to handle the vert.
as for what happened to the Z, i rolled it doing 120, came up on a curve, and put it on it's top, really don't feel like talking about it. not end over end no

Gotcha,
I found a guy who does full lenght SFC for the vert so not problem there. Just curious why they say the 11" rims won't fit.
I did put a 86 nissan pickup end over end, just remember the headlights looking at the snow then darkness. Landed upside down hanging from the seatbelt, full 180.
