Hey guys my brother got rear ended the other day, it didnt leave any visable body damage but the car ran fine for 2 days until it died on him. I un did the screwed on cap to check for fuel pressure and there was none. So I figured it was the fuel pump so I replaced that, but now the car still wont start. Is there a sensor that got taken or somthing along those lines? I already spent $175 for a used fuel pump and I dont want to spend anymore money buying parts if there is somthig else that im missing. Thanks Jeff

Did you check for power to the pump? Possibly a bad ground as well. Also, check all your fuses. That's it for now, once we know you have or do not have power to the pump, we can continue troubleshooting.

The '98s are known for electrical issues. Also have someone wiggle the PCM connector, top side near the rear of the fire wall/ passenger fender, while you try to start the car.
