I sold my dragster and am considering selling my engine now. I have a 540 ci Big Block Chevy. It has a Merlin block, Wiseco Pistons, Callies Crank, Eagle Rods w/L-19 bolt upgrade. The bottom end of this motor is very solid!
The heads are Dart Pro-1, with Dart intake. The heads are unported and has been fitted with good valves and it is a roller motor.
The engine has 1 full season since freshen. The engine put my 3000 lb Camaro down the track at a best ET of 9.32 at 148 mph. That was launching at 3500 RPM, shifting at 6400 RPM and timing at 34 degrees.
I am looking for offers on this right now. I will take all offers into careful consideration. I am thinking I want to scale back my racing program to a cheaper set up next year. The engine is good, I just want something smaller and slower. I do not want to trade this for other engines.
