i am thinking about getting one... LS2, AWD, plenty of space to lug crap around... my major concern is the amount of mods for this car... yeah it's an LS2 but i dunno if it's a c6 version or the SSR version of the motor... is the intake manifold different because it's a "truck"? what makes the numbers different? LS2 in the vette is 400hp/400tq, GTO is 400hp/395tq, SSR is 390hp/405tq... is it the programming? cam? what can i get for the trailblazer SS when it comes out? of course i'll still have the GTO...

but why is the power numbers different? and in the SSR, isnt the intake manifold different because it's a "truck"? i'm asking because as soon as i get the TB SS, i'm slapping some mods on it and i wanna know what's available for the LS2.

well without a full engine sheet you never know. but generally its gm just ****ing around with the numbers, that being said it can also be a different header and cam on that version of the engine.

if i had to guess , they probably have different exhausts and intake manifold. the reason why i say this , is because one it is the same engine and i remember 02 when the f-body and the vette had the same engine but one had 325 (WS6) and the vette had 350 . that could be the case but i could be wrong though. i ll ask my dad tonight , he works at gm.
