Deciding between FAST and ls6, wanted some thoughts and Opinions...

what is the plan for ur car/engine? and be realstic. if u are jsut doing the boltons and will never do heads/cam or FI the LS6 is defenately waht you want. the FAST is too much overkill as a bolton, especially the 90mm. If you are planning on a nice size cam and some good flowing heads or a FI system, then the FAST is a nice piece, but its ALOT more than the LS6. also if u get the 90mm version, you need a new TB so factor that cost in too. I have a FAST 90/90 setup in my room right now. got it on a GP for much less than it normally sells for, otherwise i would of not gotten it. some people say that you will lose low and mid power with the 90 FAST on stock displacement. i dunno if its true or not.

if ur going FI going ls6, its stronger.
if ur going N/A or spray go FAST.

and you honestly only need the FAST if ur gonna be moving alot of air (IE: cubes)

big cams respond well to the FAST especially when you have a good exhaust system. but its big $$$ and until you really have all the parts to take advantage of it, its not going to help you as much as you may hope, and you'll definitely lose some low end torque.
