MTI Racing will be hosting Drag Race Challenge III at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds Georgia

Saturday June 11th 2005. This is a Corvette Only Event.

Silver Dollar Raceway

Participants: Open to any year Corvette. All modifications allowed. Car must pass NHRA tech inspection.
Format: Quarter mile bracket shootout. $20 buyback option 1st round only.
Admission: Seventy Five Dollars ($75.00) for car and driver – pay at the gate. Spectators are free.

Prizes: Quarter mile bracket shoot out
1st place $200
2nd place $150
3rd place $100

closest ET to 11.00 sec $75
closest ET to 12.00 sec $75
closest ET to 13.00 sec $75

Schedule:
8:30 am gates open
8:30 am tech inspection begins immediately
8:45 am drivers meeting – drag race orientation
9-11 am test & tune: open format – as many runs as you want to make. “Grudge Matches” OK
11-11:30 am break/lunch/dial-ins
11:30-1:30pm Quarter mile bracket shootout
1:30-2pm $$$ awards / closing

Clubs are welcome. Plenty of grassy area to relax
We have exclusive use of the track from 8:30 am until 2pm.

Take the MTI challenge! See if you can beat our drag race development car. It’s a black ’99 hardtop - # C98. This is open to any normally aspirated Corvette (no power adders allowed). Cost is $25. If you win, your $75 entry fee will be refunded. Format will be
“heads up” racing and held during the test and tune session. No challenge races will be held after the elimination races begin (11:30 am). See Paul Smith at the track to sign up.
