As you all know or may not know, I am the proud new
owner of a 2000 Pewter FRC. I call it silver but what the hell.

Well, here are the results for my 2000 FRC:

RUN 1: bone stock - 303 rwhp

RUN 2: w/ Halltech Stinger CAI - 316rwhp

RUN 3: w/ Halltech and DiabloSport programming - picked up 10rwtq - no HP.

final best - 316rwhp/325rwtq.


The Halltech intake system and the DiabloSport programmer was purchased from one of our sponsors - Platinum. I was AMAZED at just bolting on that simple plastic piece and filter gave me that much...kinda sweet.

Next is a wet 100 shot and then if no knock, a 150 shot.

I've been wanting to pick up a Halltech intake for some time now. How much did you get yours for? Any idea what the specific difference is between his black (pre 00) and red (00-04) intake is? I really want to go with the red one, assuming it will work.

I need to get more air in to my car, current mods are as follows:

224/224 .581/.581 112LSA (MTI C2 CAM)
Stage 2 LS6 heads
LS6 intake
Borla Stinger exhaust

next mods are going to be an intake and a set of long tubes.

I apologize as I didn't see this post. I actually do some work for the vendor (Z06shop.com) so I got mine for free. I think he has recently sold one for around $240.00. He has some good prices and good customer service.

The black is for a smaller MAF, while the red is for the Z06 with the larger MAF. As long as you have an aftermarket or Z06 MAF, then I think you can use the red one.

What kind of HP are you making with those mods ?

I need to get an air bridge as well. Still useing the stock piece. :roll:
