Got the headers on!!!

i started the car up for the first time today after I finished installing my QTP headers. I wish i could drive it open headers around town :fire: :drool: :rock: I have the stock cam, so its not really lopey, but sounded wicked. I broke a Stage 8 locking header bolt, so i had to reinstall one of the old bolts till QTP sends me another bolt. Now im waiting on my coil relocation kit from thunder. anybody afraid to install headers themselves, its not bad as long as you can get the car up high enough. i had 4 6ton jackstands, and needed 90%of the height. Ill try to get a few pics up. when i finish them, and get the pics uploaded, ill post my writeup on EGR and AIR removal

Congrats, I just got the ss together this weekend and the first ride was at 4 in the morning with open headers :-D Man was it loud, thank god i live in the middle of nowhere

i can't wait to button uo everything to go take a ride with open headers. the car sounds like its going to run like shit till a tune though

it will run like shit w/open headers unless you're at WOT 100% of the time. otherwise the o2 bungs are too close to the open air and that will foul their readings, hence your car running like shit. throw a y-pipe on, it'll still be hella loud(drove around for a week or two here or there like that) but it won't run poorly at all.
