Ok, so I'll be getting a cam hopefully in the next few months. It was supposed to be this month but something has come up. Its going to be an FMS F14 232/234 112+2. Has anyone on here tuned their own cam, if so what kind of advice do you have.

Also, after the cam I'll be getting a FAST 90 setup and hear they're a pain to tune for. So the same question applies....has anyone done it and what did you do? Thanks a ton!!

I will be tuning the same cam with a set of tea heads very shortly, I can send you a .bin file for reference if you get tuners

yea, i have Tuners. I'd appreciate that. It'd be better if you did it w/o the heads....but I can't have everything ;)

I tuned my cam swap... I wrote and used some custom software for getting my VE table straight in SD mode. Then I went back to the stock VE table and took several logs of the MAF and recalibrated the MAF. My car runs +/- 2 almost everywhere now. I still need to tune out some fueling at idle (STIT are good, I'm thinking the VE table is being used here and that's what is giving me hell).

Take a look at:

He has some very good Excel sheets for calculating the MAF as well as for doing injector duty cycle computations.
