For many years NOSjohn had told me how his Grand National would smoke my 1991 C4 (with an automatic to boot). Well the day came we went up to the local strip and it was hot I mean 95++.....so the moment came WE LINE UP AND DOWN GO THE LIGHTS! As I look over the GN is right there at the 1/8 still there at the 1000 ft mark still there and as we roll across the line at dead even. My fist thought was to look behind me to see if I had dropped a few cylinders. As I look down at the dash I see I forgot to turn off the A/C. The next run came up and sorry to say OLD NOSjohn saw nothing but the fine back side of C4. His GN is fast but ITS NO CORVETTE !!!!!!! GO PICK UP YOUR NEW C5. After you have had some seat time in a real performance car we will have to run again.
