i want to get a stealth sub box on the drivers side trunk of my SS, but thats pretty low down on the to do list right now. i dont think we got many big sub thumpers on here yet.

Well damn.. I had a small fiberglass box built in the back of my 90 that went in the spare tire well.. It was completely hiddedn and sounded damn good.. Not sure if they make those for the 4th gen..

you guys will like the system i have in the works. i never build a wimpy system....
it'll be using alpine or eclipse for the head unit, infinity for the speakers most likely, and alpine amps. prolly alpine subs as well. ~2000watt system. gonna need the alt overdrive for this one ;) i'll wire it myself and the help of my friend justin(stereo mod on 'tech)...he just doens't know it yet haha. custom box for the subs, and prolly make a custom tray for the amps to sit on the ledge in the back. make it look all purdy ;)
and yea i know, talk is cheap. but this system ain't, so a job is in order. once thats nailed down....the system starts gettin pieced together. stay tuned!

Lookin forward to seeing that setup.. Why infinity Speakers.. I've had bad rep with them.. I had 3 tens in the back of my jeep brand new a couple years ago.. Went 1 year till they cracked.. People at car toys (shh friend worked their at the time) said that the intense winter then the hot some dried them out... POS Made me mad cuase they did sound really good

interesting. well i ran infinity speakers in my old formy ws6, both for my components and my 6.5's, and they worked great. no issues for me. of course i used the higher end kappa speakers(not quite the perfects, but better then their entry level shit). i loved the way they sounded, so thats what i was going to use again. maybe i'll have to do some more homework and see if there's something else that has the same sound and better quality. hmmm.

Damn i could have sworn i replied to this a long time ago.. anyways.. It might just be the model i had.. Dont remember, i would have to dig through my receipts..The sound was awesome.. Ofcourse i could have over powered mine or something.. But good luck on the build.. Show the process if you could..
