whats up dudes....nothin to say about external parts anymore? or just tired of the age old debates? i know i'd like to put something to rest, what pulley do you think is better, March fluid dampened, or ASP? the ASP model IS lighter, but does it balance as well? hmm....any thoughts? i'm going to be picking one up soon so i'd like some input.

I've done my research- ASP is by far most favored, been around for quite some time and is PROVEN-march is cheaper and will give you jsut aboutt eh same effects-excellent products however i believe ASP is lighter and im unsudre if MARCH is SFI approved like ASP is now

Actually March has been SFI cert the entire time its been out. Its heavier yes, but a good bit of the weight is liquid which doesn't calculate into the rotating mass amount since it really doesn't go anywhere, just stays in the center IIRC.

Anyone running a march pulley? I'm about to buy a pulley soon and would like some feedback!

I think it's an expensive mod for the small gain. A pulley is not worth it to me.

I think it helps the motor spin more freely and in turns frees up the HP. I've seen people gain 10rwhp consistenantly. I got my March as a gift, NIB, so I can't complain. We'll see how it goes. She'll be put on when I get my car fine tuned for the bolt-on baseline before the cam gets put in. Maybe I can get a before/after with the pulley to see what kind of gain I get.

Nah.....its gettin installed with the cam. Hopefully within a month. Gettin a local shop to do the install and tune.

I get to replace the fuel pump this week and fix my exhaust first....and do a full tune up before the cam(seafoam, flush the coolant, new thermo, tb bypass, change the plugs, etc). Gonna be a busy week.
