Passed my ASVAB!

I took my asvab yesterday and got an 85 on it with 120's across the board for the Army's scores. I needed a 110 on my GT score to get into Special Forces and I got a 120 so as long as the docs pass me on my physical I'll be going to the army's Special Forces training in mid March!

Congrats! You'll be going to Illinois. There's a National Guard base where all Special Forces condidates have to go through, it's escaping me right now! The range commander is Major Ossey :P.

OOO remembered the name now, Marsailles National Guard Base. All potential SF troops have to go through their course. Doesn't mean he is in the National Guard, mean's he will be going through their before he can go get waist deep in the real shit.

congrats and good luck as well!! i was slotted to go to Selection prior to my medical discharge, i'm pretty pissed i didn't get the chance to go. have fun up there....you'll like Camp Mackall ;) i hope to get back in again soon. too bad I won't be able to go SF for a while, if ever at all.

SFAS is a bitch, its 3 weeks of SEAL hell week with even more skills assessments, w/o the phsyical training prep. but, if you can get through SFAS, great. the Q Course is even harder ;)
