Does anyone know the difference in fuel systems from the 97 C5 up to the 05 C6? Where were the changes made and what were they?

Just read the media release for the Euro HSV LS2 and it states,

- Large capacity fuel pump.
- Advanced catalytic converters are both more efficient and less restrictive and are mounted closer to the exhaust manifold for quicker ‘light off’ and reduced cold start emissions.

probably higher flowing rails and bigger injectors.

on the cat topic, i read something like theres a valve or something in the muffler that moves to regulate how loud the car is. im sure thats great for exhaust flow :roll:

No word on any of this stuff yet. If I go to the Detroit auto show here next week, i'll try to get a pic of the fuel rails but i think the FR cover doesn't allow you to see them.

I know the ls2 get bigger injectors i think they are 32lb

StoleIt, you're referring to the actuator that will be on the Z06, its like an electric cutout of sorts. Badass to have it stock tho!!

Yeah, I read about that somewhere. I think its automatically operated though. I think it regulates flow while at idle and part throttle driving to keep it quiet, but at wide open, it opens up the exhaust and allows full flow. Now that to me sounds pretty awesome. If that exhaust fits anything else, I think it'll be worth a little bit and pretty popular, if anyone actually takes it off.

I heard that too, so its quiet at idle, and real loud at WOT. That's pretty gay.

I think it's cool. Allows you to drive around in stealth mode. :secret:
