It looks like, from the info. from twinturboC5, the new engine is going to be dry sump? Can anyone else comfirm this? Amazing - the steps chevrolet is taking to get reliability and power from the new motor.

I found that info on another site, which was posted by a dealer. I'm taking his word for it, since he seemed really confident in what he knew. I figured I'd pass it on.

I have major doubts that Chevrolet is going to put a dry sump oil system on any street driven car. They would have to more engineering to protect the dry sump from getting damaged. Even if the show car for the LA Auto show has one, I will not believe it until the ones at the dealers show up with it.

I posted on here a day or two after it was going to be dry sump.

It's an easy way to pick up a few extra HP.
