just a basic knowledge i'm seeking for, for an LT1 engine, whats good about getting an MSD ignition, and what's the parts i should get, for a normal stock LT1 car? thanks alot

You need the whole opti, if you want the best you can get. Its adjustable, Has a better seal, lifetime warranty, what else. Oh the coil to go with it wouldnt be a bad idea either.

If you mean the MSD box, it's not really necessary for stock/bolt on cars. It's more for retarding timing under a power adder.
That, and killing optis.

so for a stock car, most probably will see only bolt ons, it's better to get the opti and coils?

For reliability yes, but that won't increase performance.

nope, just sorta help dependaibilty and lifetime of your plugs, wires, coils etc. and give you ahotter more efficient spark.

Yep, what he said :D MSD box, hotter spark, cleaner burning plugs so forth and so on.
