View Full Version : East Coast Shootout - Sept 17th - MD/MIR

hey everyone... ls1tech is having their 3rd points shootout on Maryland on Sept 17th which is pout on by East Side. I believe its 6-7 classes from superstock, extreme mod, 10.5index, 11.5index, brackets and etc etc..

We have about 50-60 cars right now that we know of racing from Vaand MD. There should be plenty 8-9sec fbodies there, along with quite a few 10-11-12second ones. If you cant race, then please try to get out and atleast watch so we can have it in MD next year hopefully again.

If you cant make that event, then our club(EFA) will have our last points 4th gen shootout on Oct 1st at MIR also. Ill post more on that as it gets closer.

MIR is 12 hours from Nashville. My car isn't quite up to that level to race, and 12 hours is a long trip to spectate. I might try to hit up the Thunder Shootout though. The NvS Shootout was in my back yard and I had a blast watching all the nice cars out. Look forward to seeing pictures and videos of this event.

I'd love to make it down since it's only a few hours away but at that time I'll be in school and probably won't be able to do it.

Can I get a volunteer to hand out LS1LT1.com flyers at the event? There's a free LS1LT1.com sticker and/or supporting membership in it for you. I'll take the first two volunteers. You'll have to get your own copies of the flyer made.

The flyer can be found as an attachment in the N v S shootout thread.

ive got 45 stickers on my car already and its slow.. is this one good for atleast 45hp?

HAHAHA.. i'd like to, but im gonna be racing and helping the east side boys keep the event straight... its their virgin first time doing this so we want it to go over well;)

ha, i doubt ill be in the 11's, unless i pick up some tires before then. street tires own me :( my only hope is you break out :D

what tires are you running?

i have some 17" nittos you could borrow as long as you dont put no john force burnouts on em (they are my daily driver tires for my lt1):cool:

or if you can get a 15 inch rim i have a set of mickey T drag radials with plenty of life i will let go for 100 bucks...

for either ones you gotta come pick em up.....
