First - if anyone reading has or knows of this device, has used or knows of someone using it, please give your impression and tell what you know and have experienced.

For everyone else; it's a timing and nitrous control unit for the LS1. The instructions say it can switch to advance or retard timing continuously or on command (activation), delay and control nitrous activation all through a low and high rpm limit window. It can even ramp spark control for forced induction.

I bought this and have been reading the instructions. My first question is with the setting and effect for the high limit rpm regarding the window shut off. The first part of the question has to do with nitrous deactivation:

The idea with the TT v1.1 upper rpm limit is to inhibit nitrous flow before the factory rev limit occurs. This being the way GM limits rpm is to cut fuel, rather than spark. What is the factory rev limit for an M6? What is it for the 4L60E in each gear? Am I safe with a 5900 rev limit in the TT v1.1?

The lowest high rpm setting for the TT v1.1 appears to be 5900 rpm. The highest is 7400 rpm. The lowest seems quite high. So my question is this; does this sound right and does a 5900 rpm window seem safe or am I making too much of the limit considering the WOT switch is the master in the mix?

Last, I'm not certain about setting the minimum window. The instruction sheet has a chart that groups the BASE, WOT, RPM and RTD in one accumulative Settings: list. I'm left wondering if the RPM simply sets what I want or MUST this work uniformly in conjunction with the other dials.

This is a long read with too many questions and I apologize; thanks for reading, any help or discussion is appreciated.

I'm still hoping to attract some conversation on the Timing Tuner.

Matt Harris emailed to let me know the RPM dial like the others works independently and the rev limit is 6200 so the TT 5900 is fine. That part of the question is satisfied.

I am going to extend the harness and mount the box inside the car instead of the battery area. Anyone reading this in the future with suggestions would be welcomed. For now I'm going to post a couple of pictures to try and gather some interest.

With the wiring harness:

It comes with a loopback connector so it can be taken out of the system without much effort. Very much like my Mallory Hyfire with my LT1.

Thanks. Do you have a recommendation on the high side window rpm?
