95 Formula blown speaker

I have the 8 speaker factory CD set up. My door 6" speaker is bad and I need to replace it. Any suggestions as to brand or model? Also people are saying I have a factory amplified system and I cant just put in any speaker. That I would have to use a factory replacement. Its not a Monsoon syster. Any Suggestions.....

if you have a subwoofer it is amplfied(atleast the subwoofer is) if not it is the 4speaker components.
if in fact it is a factory amplified you have 1 of 2 options.
1.get the infinity kappa http://www.crutchfield.com/S-QI9M8N3gure/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=410&I=108607CS it is costly but the best sounding of any available for well over its price. it provides the 2ohm load needed for the high proformance setup.
2. get a new headunit and put whatever you want to in.

even if you do not have the high power setup I would recommend infinity components for all around. they sound absolutly amazing. I have thousands of dollars tied up in my home audio and car audio and infinity is the way to go. If you like warmer (high frequency smoothness) go with polk audio. Also have a good amount invested in polk.
