Can someone help me figure out what I need for my 94 camaro to get the codes. The OBD I code reader that I bought wont work. The light goes away and the fans come on, thats about it. I just want something that I can read the codes and to reset my light, maybe a little tunning adjustments. Nothing to pricy as this build already ready broke me, now I am just trying to get her up and running on the street. Thanks

The 94 requires a professional scan tool. Simply shorting the pins, or using an OBD1 scan tool wont work. I think the local autozone should have a scanner. When i went there a few years back, they tried to just short the pins.

A scanmaster might help. I put mine in the ac vent. It actually looks pretty good.

Okay, I just finished this build I haven't put her back on the insurance yet. No inspection. And the car wont stay running that long. And the nearest autozone or anything that is close to a big town is 48 miles away. So back to my question what do I need to buy that is reasonable. I dont have a clue what I need so can someone point me in the right direction. THanks

I've got mine velcroed to the dash on the left side next to the post. I like my A/C too much to sacrifice one of the vents. :D
