Ok guys I bought a 95 z28 about a month ago and it had factory bose. After a little investigating i found out it had all aftermarket speakers besides the little bose sub in the back.. all speakers worked properly with the factory head unit BUT it wouldnt play cds. So i decided to buy a brand new panasonic head unit. I hooked it up and the same problem occured... it wouldnt play cds but my subs worked fine while just listening to the radio. I took the unit back and got another... hooked it up and first of all it played the radio but not cds... but then i noticed my subs were pickin up the bass in the songs on the cds... but the other speakers wouldnt play the cds. so i turned my radio up and my subs started cutting out... by the way i have 2 eclipse 12s and a 1800 watt sony amp. so i turned it down and put it back on the radio and the radio started cutting out and now nothing at all will play. i disconnected the amp and the door speakers still wont play. i would be happy if just my radio would play now so if anyone can help please feel free to give me some suggestions.
