My friend has a 69 Nova with a NOS 150 carb kit on it. It is MUUUUUUUUUCH faster than my car even off the bottle but given the 4.88's and super aggressive cam it is a little hairy to say the least. He comes with me to the track everytime and has even gotten a better time out of it that I have (his 13.2 to my 13.3). Now he is addicted to the LS1. He loves the Nova but hates that it has to be trailered anywhere except right up the road.
Now he wants to put his kit on my car when I get the traction issues solved. He says all I should need to get is the fogger nozzle. He's got all the rest. I know it would be button activated and would loose some of the safety features on the EFI kits but is that all it would actually take to change over the kit is the Nozzle? I won't go more than 125 but I'll probably stick with just 100 for safety's sake.
