heater doesnt work!!

i have a 94 z28 and i cant get my heater to work. at first my heater core had a leak so i replaced it but then it still didnt work. there is hot coolant getting to the core. i have replaced the t stat, the only thing i havent done is the blower. my blower sounds like it is blowing insanely hard but only a little air comes out of the vents. could the blower be the problem?

are you sure there's enough coolant in the radiator?

my rad. is filled and i have no heat either. of course i dont really want any and dont care. in fact the AC is being removed for weight purposes soon... but for you!! it sounds like the blower gears are whacked.

yes there is plenty of coolant. i wouldnt really care to much but its kinda cold right now

check the vents???????? My friends vent on his mercury wasnt working n he couldnt get heat

yes it does blow on the floor which makes me think the blower is ok

Thats what i thought. your blower is fine. go to shbox.com He has a good write-up on how to restore the flow. Its not hard. :thumbsup:

Are you sure you have the green coolant, mine is a 96 TA and i have to use the red coolant, i put green in my car, and it cloged and the heater wouldnt work. so i switched it out with the red and it worked.

no dont put red in it, 93 through 95 used green and 96 and up used red, i was just making sure you had green it it.

Ok here thats not exactly what i meant. Does it blow only on the floor and defrost constantly? If so then its an easy fix Usually.
