hey all i have a problem. i dont know why but all of a sudden my camaro has decided its going to start shifting hard when it gets near 3000rpm and shifts. if i start off slwly it doesnt really do it but if i even so much as put more then the bare minimum of gas it feels like the transmission drops to the ground hard. i checked the fluid but im not good with cars yet so any advice?

Have you tryed chainging your plugs and coil? thats what my 95 ta was doing and the change fixed my problem, something to do with the pcm not letting it shift, does it shift just fine when you ease on the throttle? and does your reverse engage fine?

check your transmission mount. Sounds like it is broken. Should sound like something is slamming against the bottom of the car

I was finally able to get the car lifted. I checked everything my exhaust my waterpump and transmission. When I examined the bracket it looked fine, that was until i applied a little pushing pressure underneath it and found out what the problem was. My mount was completely destroyed. I don't know how it got destroyed as badly as it did, but it was gone. I got a new one on order and am taking it very easy with the rpm's as long as I dont go over 2k it doesn't lift and drop, which was causing what felt like the hard shift. Hopefully, I will have it installed next week. Thank you for your feedback!

Its ok to hate it. You will hate it less when you never have to change it again.
