Scenario: It's 9:00am here in East Chatham, New York. I'm upstairs and I hear the dogs (Harley, the minpin and Rosie, the Long Hair Jack Russell) start barking their heads off. I'm thinking, "stupid dogs..They bark anytime a leaf blows across the yard..sigh..", and I finish brushing my teeth (I telecommute from here to Houston, working all day in my pajamas..don't be h8tin', lol) and then walk down to the kitchen to pour a cup of coffee. The coffee maker is beside the glass back door and out of the corner of my eye, I see a white box on the back porch.... I let out an appropriate Texas WoooHooo! and grab the box, put it on the dining table and open her up...

Now just waiting on the (already ordered/paid for) TS-38 Wastegate and Mototron 60# Fuel injectors. They should be here later today or tomorrow. I can't really start just yet. I still have lots to order but I'm well on the road and already $2,000 plus into it just with this much. I've been reading various "Forced Induction" forums and I've been learning a lot. One thing that is for certain, the STS Turbos (rear mounted, near the differential), in a lot of cases, are Kicking some serious ass with 9 second passes on forged lower ends. 700 plus hp in quite a few cases. Some of the traditional located Turbo LT1's are using everything under the sun for exhaust manifolds. Stock, Logs, Headers (Homebuilt and Pro built). The arguments for using logs is compelling. They are easy (but homely, but then again, so am I and I work REAL well!) and some log designed cars are putting out over 1,000 HP.
I'll keep updating this as I get parts and or progress.
