i read somewhere (i forget where) that if a trailblazer torque convertor is installed on a camaro 4l60e, it is stall somewhere between 3000 and 3400... is this true?

It might be, but you'd be better off with an aftermarket piece anyway

True, but they're expensive because they're built to handle high hp stresses that factory converters really aren't
