My friend powdercoated his 9" housing when the dealer got it from Moser, but it had to be ground off to weld the swaybar brackets. When I get a new rearend I will use POR-15 on it. The stuff is indestructable and it looks great even if you brush it on, and you don't have to disassemble it like you would to powdercoat it.

POR-15 is for rust .. everyone i know just uses high temp coating -- except this one guy who was a red freak .. used 4 boxes of Red caliper Paint .. ill have to say it was red .. just a lil too red for me

Any auto parts house will have what ya need .. a couple coats and your on the road
