I want to get some new shocks, but not sure what is best for a '96 T/A. Any good suggestions as far as brand/price??

What do you do with the car?, is it your every day driver, weekend toy, track car, etc

What is your budget? I ran Bilsteins for 30000 miles. They were harsh on the streets up north, but pretty good when I moved to FL. They were really good once I put in subframe connectors. I think they were a little too stiff for the chassis before that. I just replaced them with a set of KYB AGX's. I wanted Koni DA's, but they were not in my budget after the money I spent on the rest of the suspension. I like them for now. I will get the Koni's eventually. BTW, the Bilsteins were still good when I took them out.

Give Sam or Arlyn Stano a call man. I've been running their revalved bilsteins for about 6000 miles now and can't get enough of the car around corners. This is on my daily driven 94 formula.

YellowTA: Your car looks freakin sweet. I absolutely love yellow cars, and the way you added the black is perfect. Kudos.

Koni SA's will be Sam's choice for a high end shock. Bilstein revalves will be his second choice.

thanks for the compliment. I wanted something different, but something that looked really good.

How can I get in touch with Sam to find out his thoughts??

Give him a call, his number is on their site. www.stranoparts.com

You might get Arlyn, thats his mom. She's very knowledgeable with the cars suspension as well.

also ive heard nothing but good about KYB Adjustables... theyre a little on the expensive side, but are about even with the price of bilstiens. and you can em on ebay for like $300 shipped for a full set!!

Wow, that car really does look good. I am not a fan of yellow anything, but with the black on there it really stands out!

That'd be hot ..someone should really do that - they would be the man! oh btw .. i run the KYB AGX's adjustable on car and when set on the Hardest setting this T/A needs no rails to take corners . Really woke up the handling

x800....Sam Strano or Arlyn.

I had the SLP level one bilstein/eibach system, and changed over the rear suspension to SA 4th gen Koni w/GC perches(for ride height correction), and I love the dampening adjustments on those things. Still gotta change out the fronts, but that'll be down the road. I have a little more roll than in the past, but IMO, that is because of the mismatch.

If you want it done right, call Sam. Expect to pay around $360/pair of Koni's as described above. I ordered mine 6 mos ago, so not sure if there prices have gone up.
