i think, don't quote me on this, most springs will drop the front a tad lower than the rear.

check here for some info about lowering cars. (http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=422236)

You can't go wrong with a Suspension Techniques Sport Spring kit. Will drop you 1.3" front and rear for only $206.

LMperformance comes up when doing a google search.

Check with the sponsors listed along the right side of the screen. I think you can get some good advice there.

As for my experience with lowering; I chose a 1.2" drop. Any more and you need to change the struts for length. Your front wheels will tip inward at the top (camber) and your rear axle will shift to the right about 1/4" when the car isn't in motion. The ride has become noticeably taut, nearly knocking the wind out of me on bad roads and I drag the exhaust more easily. Those dead animals you straddle will now make a thump when passing under the car. I was caught in a congested, multi-lane expressway traffic cluster at 65 mph when someones cat shield spun in my path. No where to go so it went under my car. It scooted along with us for about a mile until breaking away. A friend couldn't avoid a chunk of steel and ended up spending $3k. He replaced the oil pan and lots of other repairs.

With the 1.2 inch drop my car's facsia is 7 inches above the road and the rear bumper cover is 13 on my 01. The air dam scrapes coming out of almost every entrance and exit. The car looks and feels cool as hail with the lowering but like everything, it has come with a price. Parking it in my port is an ordeal because I abruptly go down a 4 inch drop. I have to strategically lay lumber around to keep from scraping my SLP exhaust off. For the life of me I can't imagine dropping one of these cars 2 inches or more.

I'm pretty happy with my eibach pro-kit. Even with the pacesetter longtubes I get pretty good ground clearance. Plus I run an 18" wheel all around with no scraping or rubbing issues.

Strano has came out with their own spring now too if you want to check them out. He's highly recommended. I've ordered many suspension/brake products off them.
