yea i knew it ws coming, i was just trying to get enough saved up for a rebuild before it happened. it wasnt a slow process, it just went all the sudden. i was driving from my friends house to my house, and on the way back to my friends house i was going up a hill and i lost my clutch packs for 2-3 and 3-4. it was AMAZING let me tell you! luckily my friend has a spare 4l60e that im going to get built with a TC and to hold 650. does anyone know whether i should get a TC with lockup or not? and wasnt this the best weekend in history?

If you like gas milage I'd suggest a lock-up.

Not sure for what that means from a power/reliability standpoint, though

Really there is no option, you need lock up both for highway MPG and to keep from burning the transmission up. Non-lock ups do exactly that...they slip perpetually and create a ton of heat doing so.

its schweet because it gives me an excuse to re/build it with a stall and shift kit and whatnot (new servos etc.) because my mom doesnt know what i need and what i dont. this is awesome. now she thinks everything i have on order is absolutley necessary!
