We just moved to 109.9 CDN/liter for 91 last night.

That's $4.15 CDN / US gallon or $3.38 USD / US gallon.

Its only going to get worse before it gets better, so hold on to your wallets. I think oil is up over $65/barrel now.

The global economy is consuming it faster than they can pump it out of the ground right now. I just hope we don't have like a refinery fire or a big oil spill....then I think $100/barrel is a possibility.

Do you realize we haven't had a new refinery built since the 70's? The process here is very inefficient which jacks up the price. Also, all of the taxes each state government puts on a gallon of gas is figured into the price.

While the price of oil obviously impacts the price of gas there are other reasons why it's so high. It's ****ing ridiculous. I thought all the tree huggers insisted this war was over oil.

Yeah thats it... we went for free oil!!! hahaha. Right....

Yeah its getting bad. I started looking at bikes yesterday to try and save on gas.

www.bostongasprices.com
www.massachusettsgasprices.com

go on there and you can see what prices are like all over the state, and you can report if you find a cheap gas station to let others know about it. its an awesome site.

It looks like we are paying much more for gas than you. This graph compares my city, Saskatoon (in blue) to the Canadian average (red) and the American average (green) in CDN $/ liter of regular 87 octane.

Premium here is 2.69

THe USA has a very low price on gasoline compared to other countries. We still complain even though we pay half what some other countries pay.

Trevor, how much of that price is taxes? From what I saw in Europe, their high ass prices are all taxes, not product cost.

2.93 a gallon here. You can blame our govt for gas prices increasing. Anyone ever looked at the quarterly increases for some of the oil companies. flat out ridiculous. they are taking advantage of the american people and noone is doing shit to help us.

High prices for oil and natural gas propelled Exxon Mobil Corp. and Royal Dutch Shell PLC to their best quarterly results ever on Thursday, with Exxon becoming the first U.S. company ever to ring up quarterly sales of $100 billion.

100 billion for 3 months of what...... they also reported a profit of 10.5 billion.
