sad thing is when I had my 4.9 cadi i actually built one of those things using an electric leaf blower motor,(I had alot of time on my hands)never worked though,could not find a strong enough power inverter,I wish someone would have through a rock at me and called me dumb

You could see an increase in horsepower but the destruction from the lightning bolt hitting your car (and body) would negate the brief power increase of the electric supercharger.:lol:

well a standard twin 48 mm TB sucks in 620 cfm .. the electric blower can only move 500 cfm therefore .. it would produce more vacuum in the intake tube before the TB than if it were open and allowed to "breathe" its normal 620 ---- now if it had a seperate pipe feeding air into a seperate Y'd (not disturbing the air flow of the original)pipe before vacuum has a chance to build then i can see minimal gains

I saw a video of a leaf blower makin like 15-20hp on a 4 clyinder...but That leaf blower looked like it moved a hell of a lot more air than one of those little fans.

at the place where i get my dyno's he always puts a blower fan right in front of my hood scoop, not sure if that really does anything for it?

Every dyno does that, it's to help simulate moving, with air hitting the car.
