just today i removed all my ground kit and i went out to try the car,, i was a little hard all kick downs and burn outs then my transmission dropped on me, the car wont shift past 1st gear,, i slowed down and it shift hard with grinding/whining & there's this whine at slow speed and there's something def. wrong in the transmission, i just took her back in the garage with broken dreams... i'll be leaving for vacation after 4 days and i'm gonna drop it to the mechanic either tomorrow or after,, any idea's of what's wrong and what to do?? thanks alot  :banghead: :banghead:

sounds to me like a broken band .. about time for a trans Rebuild Sorry dont know any good Trans Shops oversea's .. I would however get heavy duty components in this one as performabuilt was saying only adds about 350 for better components and the end result a better suited trans for beating on :D

Update,, as much as i would love to get me stuff from sponsors overhere,, but my problem lies in that i'm an oversea resident...
i took my car to my trusted mechanic,, it needs a rebuild alright, i'm gonna keep the car till the end of this month cause i'm leaving after 3 days for vacation and staying for another 10 days, so he has all the time to do it right,, we are also getting a trans cooler in this process (heat reaches 125 F during summer) so that would be something really good for the car..
now the estimate price would be approx 1000$$ for the whole thing, DAMN I WISH I'M near the usa to have the option to get better stuff, but what to do?? wish me luck..
