Ok I bought a ls1 alum driveshaft(i think) model # 12560725 and I can not get a u joint to fit the shaft and rear yoke. Its a stock 95 10 bolt. The caps are different sizes between the 2....
I have done search's all over with no clue as to what I need, any help would be great.

That's odd. My LS1 shaft was a direct bolt in. Should all be a 1310 U-joint. That's probably why you haven't found any info...nobody else has this issue.
I'd see about measuring the cap sizes on the driveshaft...perhaps it came off a car with a 12 bolt and 1350 series yoke, in which case the driveshaft probably has a 1310/1350 conversion ujoint on it. That means the driveshaft caps are 1310 but the caps that would mount in the yoke are 1350 size. If that's the case then its as easy as putting a stock 1310 U joint back in.

The caps in the shaft are bigger, the d/s shop installed a 2-1153 u/j from Carquest. And now that I have checked the legnth next to the steel shaft, it is also 5/8" to 3/4" shorter. That leaves about 2" of slip joint in the trans, not good for RR!
Thanks Chris
p.s. I have a alum d/s for a 12 bolt up for sale!

Well that 2-1153 joint is a crossover joint(3r to 1350) which he took back.
The shop fixed me up with 2 new 3r Spicer joints, removed the balance ring off the slip joint and the weight and that sucker spinned true up to 10000 rpms! For 90 bucks!
I guess im keeping it now! lol

it's not a 1310 joint......they are all 3R or Saginaw 44 joints
