Reported Dana 60 problems?

A friend said he had been reading a lot of threads on other forums that they were having a lot of problems...anyone heard anything?

I'm sure it can take the shock, but I'm talking more about issues from daily driving. Anything seem to wear down prematurely?

umm its been in there 3 seasons .. and the ol lady has driven it to work occasionally when she gets the whole .. but yer a girl thang .. all ive ever done is swap the fluid at the end of each season with Mobil 1 Synthetic 75W90

i was reading something last night, can't really remember what it said, it was 1:30 this morning. but something along the lines of the Strange S60 casting is soft and so the housing flexing under shock.

this was coming from Scott at Driveline Solutions, someone ask him, he can give you a more indept answer.

Her car has dyno'd 820 at the rear wheels with the blower on ( too many traction problems .. its sitting waiting on NXSLT1's 93-97 T/A build when he gets all specs together) -- no problems as of yet

From what i'm reading some of the castings like Liquid mentioend are soft, and makes the gears howl loudly.
