Man, I love Tidewater, but never seem to get the chance to travel down your way! Of course, the BB Tunnel doesn't help matters (doh)

Ironically, I just got off the phone w/my buddy from Newport News, who asked if I could help him on MECA SQ judging. So, I'll be heading to Fredericksburg, VA on 10/8 Hooter's and meeting a couple other f-body guys
(SleepingHawk, etc.), but I won't have much time to shoot the breeze; however, I will have the Hawk on display/demo.
I will be travelling and staying in Newport News on October 21/22 (Saturday,Sunday) for VA finals in Dinwiddie, VA (VA Motorsports) and also judging SQ for VA state finals. Unfortunately, my time will most likely be consumed by "obligated" functions. My uncle also lives in Chesapeake/Portsmouth (Western Branch), so you never know when I may come down.
I'll definitely get in touch w/you if the chance arises. Thanks for the invite, and if you ever find yourself (God help you) on the Del-Mar-Va peninula, the same invitation is extended (Salisbury, MD)

I cannot remember exactly where he lives, but he works @ NNShipbuilding for a defense contractor. Small world!
You'd think I remember since I've stayed at his house on several occasions.
Gettin' old sux!

For a second generation f-body? Now you are tapping the brain cells, but it shouldn't be hard! Personally, I would glass them in, or screw a piece of MDF before attaching the speakers. You'll eliminate the rattle potential!
If you feel uncertain, just ask the guys on:

Junk the rears IMO, but if still working keep them! Sounds like you got a state of the art system (that's supposed to be a joke)! Typical GM!
Have you thought about kicks instead! Imaging would be soooooo much better!
U just caught me heading out for the eve, but I have some other ideas to share tomorrow!
