I have a grand national, different car I know ,but on any forced induction car you need intercooling to cool the intake charge. Water /Alcohol injection is a chemical intercooler and will allow you to run more boost, which means more power. But if your engine has stock internals you could be pushing its limits with excessive cylinder pressure. Does your car have a knock sensor that will retard timing if it is knocking?

i dont think so. i dunno though it might. the car is already intercooled but im not trying to push over 7-b psi on the stock internals... it doesnt knock right now. it probably does have a knock sensor. my friend had a 95 caprice with the lt1 and his had a knock sensor, so im just basing it form that. how would i find out?
