I was told that if I remove ALL torque management from my new tune , that I could destroy my trans by doing WOTs , does that sound right ? it is a base model Impala

OK thanks
one other question, when I start out on a cool morning my up shift from first to second is not,,, Ummm ,smooth . It is like getting bumped from behind at a very very low speed. by the time i get 3 or 4 blocks to the next stop sign the shift is ok, as the rest of the day.
oh one last question i just thought to ask if you don't mind. I have not touched the settings, can changing the force motor settings damage the shift solenoids ? the table has line pressure along the top and engine temp down the side, with various mv settings in the cells of the chart. I heard you can increase, not decrease. what would increasing a voltage do ?
actually i just thought of another question, if your busy do not answer it. Does the pcm use the MAF OR IAT for shift selection ?

The cold shift hard from 1-2 second I have seen but am not sure why it happens but it does not seem to bother anything , raising the voltage to the force motor will lower line preasure , you would lower voltage to increase preasure and shift firmness , but not alot , while it wont hurt the solinods it can flood them causing irratic shifts and mssed gears if the preasure goes to hi ,
The shifts are determined primarily by engine rpm , throttle position , speed and engine rpm ,
