I'm Thinking about doing a brake swap for the 98+ brakes, but I wasn't sure if my stock 16s would fit over the bigger rotors, can anybody help me out with this??

Yes, they fit fine. Remember the base wheel on the 98+ cars were 16" too.

Thanks Chris, I couldn't remember if the 98+ came with 16s or 17s.

I found this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-97-LT1-Camaro-Firebird-LS1-Front-Brake-Upgrade_W0QQitemZ150029423831QQihZ005QQcategoryZ33 564QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) "kit" on ebay, and i'm wondering if there is anything else I would need or if there is something in this kit I don't need.

its an inexpensive way to have better stopping power...

You'll need some pads obviously. Just check your spindles when the kit arrives, sometimes these kits are taken from wrecked cars and bent spindles are not uncommon.

Chris makes a good point. Check everything but looks good other than that...

You would need 17s if you were to get a C5 kit, a LS1 kit will fit fine.
