I guess 93-97 drive shafts just suck. What would be my best option($$$$)? 1. Buying a used 98 and up aluminum shaft concidering Billy Graham Camaro/Firebird salvage is only 3 hours away. 2. Having my steel shaft rebalanced (yolk also?). 3. Have a new shaft made.

As it stands now the car starts vibrating at about 65 and gets worse as the speed increases. Also there is some clunking coming from under the car while you drive it around town. You know . Stop and go. And I have replaced the trans mount with a poly one. Oh yeah its an A4.

take the driveshaft off the U joint on the rear end's pinion yoke, and rotate it 180*.

Call Driveline Solutions, one of our sponsors. They will be able to give you a good diagnosis on whether its the driveshaft or a more serious issue.
