Are you serious?

I wouldn't consider drifting a "motorsport" as there's no objective measure of performance. You're judged, like in Olympic Diving or Figure Skating.

Drifting = Ricey

I vote for perma-bans on anyone who brings up drifitng again. There are other messageboards that cater to that kind of idiocricy.

I definelty wouldn't consider drifting ricey because if you watch it A viper, a stang, and a GTO destroy all else. I think there has only been one import tp win on american soil, as of the last time I watched it. I do slide around corners every chance I get, wether im in some gravel in the truck or in the parking lot in an F-body. I just pulled of my first really nice and accurate,on street, E-brake induced slide. I was in my friends v6 5-speed camaro as I approached a 90 degree corner at about 45 I yanked the ebrake and got completely sideways then hooked right as the road ended it was absolutely perfect and Ive got some pics of the car next to the marks. Ill try to get it from my phone to the site so you all can see. All I can say C murda is practice in a parking lot until you get good. Whats funnier than the look on your passengers face, when your like crap I forgot my wallet we have to turn around, and you yank the ebrake and pull of a perfect 180 to head back the other way. Its absolutely priceless trust me!

drifting on the street is really ricey, especially in fwd cars. those on the real drifting circuit have some real talent. its not easy controlling a car beyond its limits inches away from walls and other cars. it makes me laugh so much to see domestic v8s and 10s winning almost every time. hell, a old ass el camino(but the GMC version) running competivly.

yah I am all for the Caballero ( or maybe the GMC version is a Sprint? I cant Recall) because he is a normale guy "racin' what he got" but I think he wins a little cheaply, going slow around corners so the other guys have to get on the brake then they loose it, but hey a win is a win so what can yah do.

maybe....just maybe, you guys that do this crap on the street will slide into a tree, or a pole, and then realize, while laying in your hospital bed of course......damn.....drifting is gay. God-willing, you won't endanger any innocent people, animals, cars, property in the process.

Oh,ok everybody stop all the racing....and drifting make sure you do the speed limit.

Just because you dont like something dont make it gay.

NICETRY pulls stupid people out of wrecked cars for a living. I'll give him a little room to editorialize here on people doing dumb things to hurt/kill themselves and others on the streets.

Drifting should be done on a closed track, but its still not a motorsport. Its Motor-ballet.

just a little side-subject, but isnt pulling the E-brake bad on RWD cars?, im not saying to slow the car but that suddent lock-up instant stopping of the entire drivetrain, if you didnt notice im talking about A4s here

i just always thought it would be hell on the trans
