Put some new brake pads (front/rear) on the SS today. I had Hawk HPS pads and decided to go with some Satisfied Grand Sport 6 Ceramic/Carbon pads instead. Nice upgrade, the initail bite is much better than the Hawks and they dust even less. For $105 this was worth every penny and more.

where did you get them?? I have Hawk HPS's and like them but the initial bite could be a bit better.

Just be aware it is a lot easier to warp rotors with ceramic pads because they hold heat like little ovens. So if you are on the brakes hard for a while then park the car, they just sit and warp the rotor.

I got my pads from Tire Rack. The initial bite is far superior to the HPS pads. The Grand Sport 6 pads are a ceramic/carbon formulation specifically designed for autocross/high performance driving and as such work well in temps up to 700º F.

They are black (normal color?). They are really superior pads in every way. I got the pads from Tire Rack, I have Brembo Slotted replacement rotors and stock calipers.
