Got a bit of a problem here; I oringally had 4.10's in my rear end when I bought my car off the previous owner I have since blown those and put 3.42's back in for warranty reason's....

Now my speedo is off by about 20 km/h...
Do I have to use a programmer to change the gear set in the computer? and if so which one should I use?

Yes the PCM has to be reprogrammed. You can use a hand held so I would try to pick up a Hypertech used or even better would be contacting PCMforless. If all you need is a speedo correction it won't be expensive at all, and they can send you the file so you can upload it yourself.
