I purchased a Diablosport SLP programmer not knowing the car was dynotuned before and what happened was after dealing with SLP I installed a tune on top of a tune and this when all the problems started! Long story short I had to bring the car to GM and we put a new ecm and reflashed back to factory specs. Ever since this occured my Rev limiter does not work properly even with the stock tune which is set at 6200 rpm for a manuel trans. The rev limiter keeps cutting out at 5800 rpm in 1st and 2nd and then 3rd will pull to 6200 to 6300 rpm and so on with a 6500 rpm setting on the modified parameters. I even tried maxing it out at 6800rpm and still nothing. Could have something else have happend when the tunes were fighting each other and caused all the problems such as check engine codes etc. The car runs great just the rev limiter is stuck in this problem. I was told by GM and diablosport that there is rev limiter sensors as well as fuel limiter sensors and a reluctor wheel and pick up that controls revs also a crank/ harmoic balancer sensor. Is it possible something else is causing the problem and how can it be diagnosed and fixed PLEASE HELP ME Thanks, Jamie P.S. I checked the Tach and it seems to be correct . The car never had a problem before this disaster!
